Overview- The New Deal Program was the hard work and determination shown by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It established numerous government programs designed to catapult America out of the Great Depression. Roosevelt created very influential policies such as labor unions and Social Security to help protect workers for over powering bosses and provided financial security to those in need. Most importantly, the New Deal provided future leaders with a basis to help prevent economic instability.

Purpose- The New Deal's purpose was to give back the nation the three "r"s Roosevelt felt was so important: relief, recovery, and reform. These programs were ment to restore America to its stature in the 1920's, but to ensure another Great Depression would never happen.

Who it helped?-
The New Deal helped any family that lost a job, savings acount, stock money, hope and a sense of American pride.
